Careful With My Furniture!

I began to think that my permanent motto was “Be Careful With My Furniture”, which led me on a search for expert furniture handling. Unfortunately, there’s a very good reason for this. By not taking the time to do the necessary research in order to choose a good, reliable moving company for my last move, I ended up with a lot of damaged furniture that seemed to take forever to file individual claims on, collect the reimbursement funds and shop around for replacements. An amazing hassle, indeed! So I learned my lesson!

This time, it was going to be different. I was going to spend the timer needed, on the front end, to make sure I got a company that was known for being careful with their customer’s furniture, thus eliminating just about every funds claim nightmare that could arise once you got to your destination. For me, here was just no other way to go. I knew that I wouldn’t have the time or the energy to do anything else, especially when you consider the fact that I was now 10 years older! Now, I was older and wiser in this regard.

So, I made it a point to use a search engine and begin looking for websites that featured movers, vans and storage for the lowest prices in the country (or so the site said). I then began by by creating a list on an Excel spreadsheet that had the lowest prices that I had been sent in my email after I had answered the prerequisite questions. Now, I was ready for the most important part. That was checking out what other folks had to say about the service that they received. I then placed that info on the spreadsheet, as well.

After I had finished all of my research, I was ready to contact the two best companies and see if I could get a gut feeling about them. The gut feeling that I got actually was positive for both companies. And I’m here to tell you that the results that I got were exceptional! The move went perfectly with only slight (unavoidable damage to just one item. The reimbursement was lightning fast and the company even did the research to replace the item (even though the damage was minor) with a superior piece! That was perfect service.
