We would like to welcome you to Dallas by telling you a little about what Dallas has to offer. You will find many attractions, jobs, and great nightlife entertainment right here in your own back yard.
If you have children in your family you will find lots of activities for them to do and lots of entertainment to pass their time. If your child is into theater, Dallas has a professional theater that also offers educatioin and outreach programs including 11 main stage productions. Also for any age child you will want to see the world aquarium and the zoo. The zoo covers 106 acres and is the largest in Texas. You will find art, swimming, day camps, movies, water parks and much more for your children to do in Dallas.
Schools here will provide your child with the best education. Not only are the public schools top ranked, you will find private schools as well. Dallas offers some great colleges for future studying and regardless of the age of your child you will find a school that fits their needs.
After you get settled in your new home take some time to go sightseeing. One of the best places to visit in Dallas is the Sixth Floor Museum. This is where John F. Kennedy was killed, the shots were known to be fired from this building by Lee Harvey Oswald. This was world news and it happened right here in Dallas! You will also find a reading room here with over 4000 books and magazines.
The West End district has 100′s of shops and restaurants. This part of town is the historical warehouse district. You will find the Texas State Fair at another historical landmark called the Fair Park. You will be able to find in Dallas the country’s biggest collection of art deco buildings. Make sure you bring your camera along so you can send pictures to your friends and family back home, as I am sure they will want to visit you and exciting Dallas Texas. There are festivals held that include great crafts as well as food and fun.
If you are into arts you will find works by Monet, Georgia O’Keefe and Jackson Pollock on display at the Dallas Museum of Art. There are many other art galleries to visit when you are doing your tour around town.
Speaking of tours, you will find several tour companies that will show you a good time. Dallas even has a trolley tour. If you are interested in paranormal activity, Dallas has plenty. Dallas offers ghost tours, graveyard tours as well as haunted houses. Whatever your interest Dallas has tours and tour guides to educate you and offer you plenty of fun.
Dallas attractions are everywhere. Dallas is a big city and you won’t be able to see all the attractions in a day. So every weekend you can plan to go somewhere different for your enjoyment. You will find great malls and many gifts shops as well as great restaurants. Also be sure to check out your favorite movie in one of our movie theaters. You will enjoy visiting the Dallas museum of Nature and Science as well.
If you are a sports fan, you will want to visit the Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. You will also find golf courses, great fishing, parks and recreations areas for bike riding and tennis courts. Also we have a great ice skating rink.
After a hard day’s work venture out into Dallas nightlife. Be sure the check out the famous Mickey Gilley bar. you will find there boxing matches, fashion shows and a list of great country acts. Nightlife in Dallas offers all kind of music from country, R&B, hip hop, retro and jazz just to name a few. You can dance and party on one floor of a nightclub or go upstairs to the roof deck to a more quiet place with your partner and soft music. You will find in Dallas a great House of Blues. There are many barn theaters as well with great shows and great food. Dallas has some of the best sizzling steaks in the world. You can look around any corner in this big city and realize Dallas is more than just barbecue and cowboys! Although there is nothing wrong with either of those.
Whether you were re-located to Dallas or here looking for a job, Dallas jobs are plentiful. There are many companies as well as positions to suit your experience. It could be a security officer, nursing and health administration, law inforcement, hostess or server, accountant, mechanic, hotels and motels and the list goes on and on.
